« I want to make a difference in the lives of people who leave my consultation room »

After her studies, Diana joined a retirement home to become the head doctor, which is how she became passionate about the elderly. At their side, she appreciated the intergenerational exchange where the elderly shared their knowledge in exchange for the energy of the younger ones. She therefore decided to specialise in geriatrics, a sub-specialty that is not very well developed in Portugal.

She is also very keen to keep her family doctor’s “hat”. She likes the holistic approach that considers the whole person and the diversity in patients and diagnoses.
