Dr Sara Pinheiro

Dr Pinheiro has always been fascinated by the complexity of the human body and its hormonal balance. After five years of training in Endocrinology at the Endocrinology Department of the Portuguese Institute of Oncology in Lisbon, she developed in-depth expertise in thyroid and parathyroid disorders, diabetes, and obesity. Her interest in thyroid oncology led her to further specialise in this field.

What Dr Pinheiro loves most about her profession is the relationship with her patients. To her, every individual is unique and deserves personalised and compassionate care. Her approach is based on attentive listening and a comprehensive perspective.
