From the very beginning of her medical training, Dr Mendes De Carvalho developed a deep passion for the skin, its complexities, and its impact on quality of life. Currently a dermatology and venereology resident, she is dedicated to understanding and treating skin diseases while enhancing her patients’ quality of life.
What she loves most about her speciality is the ability to diagnose and treat skin conditions quickly, often within just one or two consultations. The autonomy and efficiency of her field allow her to make a direct and meaningful impact on her patients’ well-being.
Her approach is based on honest communication: she takes the time to explain her patients’ conditions and treatment options, ensuring they can make well-informed decisions about their health.
