Dr Flavio was born in São Paulo. Understanding human beings has always been his passion, which is why he turned to medicine. A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of São Paulo, he began his career as a general practitioner before specialising in intensive care medicine in one of Latin America’s largest hospital complexes.
In 2002, Dr Flavio chose to move to Madeira to practise as a family doctor. He discovered the importance of preventive medicine and comprehensive health monitoring. This experience led him to take on patients of all ages, with a human and personalised approach. Dr Flávio has also worked in an emergency department, an experience that makes him comfortable with essential procedures such as sutures and injections.
