Dr Chantre has always been passionate about the way medicine can improve people’s quality of life. He completed his medical degree at the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences in Porto and went on to specialise in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) at the Central Lisbon University Hospital Centre.

Recognised for his contributions to medical research, he has published 20 scientific articles in specialised national and international journals and has been awarded 18 prizes and scientific merit grants.

At Alegria Medical Centre, he values a patient-centred approach, adapting care to the specific needs of each individual – a philosophy he applies in his daily practice. He believes that therapeutic success is built on regularity and persistence from the patient.
