Dr Chantre has always been passionate about the way medicine can improve people’s quality of life. He completed his medical degree at the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences in Porto and went on to specialise in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) at the Central Lisbon University Hospital Centre.
Recognised for his contributions to medical research, he has published 20 scientific articles in specialised national and international journals and has been awarded 18 prizes and scientific merit grants.
