Dr. Frederico Bonito was born in Alentejo and moved to Lisbon to study medicine. During his medical education, he undertook several internships in Germany, France, and Switzerland, where he acquired proficiency in French. Dr. Bonito is a Dermatologist venereologist with a special interest in skin oncology, dermatologic surgery, and sexually transmitted infections.
He loves his job for its diversity, involving medical consultations, a range of surgical procedures, and treating patients of all ages with various skin conditions, from minor to severe, covering a wide array of diseases from head to toe.
Working at Alegria adds another exciting challenge to this diversity: language and culture switches between each patient. Dr. Bonito often advises his patients that many of the skincare products they’re using might not be necessary or could actually worsen their skin problems. He guides them towards a healthier skincare routine.
