Recipe : Energy balls of date, cocoa and pistachios

energy balls of dates


For 14 energy balls :

  • 1/2 cup of almonds
  • 1/4 cup pistachios
  • 1/2 cup pitted dates (or date paste)
  • 6 dried fruits of your choice or in a mixture (figs, prunes, apricots, etc.)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla

To roll energy balls : some cocoa or coconut or ground pistachios


  • Place all ingredients in a blender, except for rolling balls.
  • Mix until you get a dough that holds, but is a grainy strand: the pieces that are not mixed add crunch!
  • Roll ! Take one tablespoon of the mixture and form into a ball: repeat until the mixture is over.
  • Dress! Roll the balls in the mixture of your choice: cocoa, coconut, ground pistachios.

STORAGE : one week in the fridge in an airtight glass box, or several weeks in the freezer.
